The Dusseldorf, Germany-based jewelry designer Ariane Hartmann is known for her use of the written word. She stamps a repeated series of mottos or phrases onto silver. The pieces pictured here are from Hartman's "Let's be a Miracle" collection. "Let's be a miracle" is a quote from a song called, "Clay Stone Scherben." I like that the overlapping words are made up of large and small-sized upper case letters, creating a cool effect. The combination of the gorgeous red acrylic paired with the silver is stunning.
