Designer Naoko Ogawa, who was born in Japan, says this about her unusual jewelry designs: "My jewellery is based around the relationship we have with our clothes. I create pieces that are not complete unless placed upon the clothing. They allow the wearer to complete their look and create a unique outfit." The purple, green, and red jewelry you see on this white shirt is made from aluminum and paper. A wearer uses the jewelry to transform clothing by creating folds through the creative cinching of material. Interesting concept. I like the uniqueness of Ogawa's idea. These 'Gathering Jewelry' pieces are now available at 'THE SHOP', the new online store at Not Just A Label, a directory of up-and-coming young designers from around the world. How do you like this?
