Felted Fashion at the Cooper-Hewitt

Francoise Hoffman from Lyon, France is one of the felt fashion designers whose works are on display at the Fashioning Felt exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum through September 7, 2009. Hoffman creates incredibly artistic and very feminine coats, hats, and other accessories out of felt, linen, and silk. I love the coat (left) featuring gorgeous colors and what looks like newspaper print as part of the design. The colorful ensemble below is just another example of Hoffman's creative, inventive spirit.
