Are you going to the Inaugural Ball? I mean the Green Inaugural Ball, sponsored by the New Mexico congressional delegation, tonight, in Washington, D.C. If so, you will see Nancy Judd's CAMPAIGN FOR CHANGE COUTURE COLLECTION, which she made from discarded Obama campaign materials. Nancy Judd, owner of Recycle Runway, aims to change the way the world thinks about the environment through educational programs and couture fashions made from trash. Here is Judd modeling a cocktail dress made from Obama yard signs. Other pieces from the CAMPAIGN FOR CHANGE COUTURE COLLECTION include a woman's coat stitched together using voter registration materials and a ball gown made from campaign posters. Would you like to wear this dress? To learn more about how Judd and her friends created the collection, go to Recycle Runway.
Hi Jenn,
I'm glad that you liked the post. I have not yet taught at the Ah Haa School for the Arts. But, since you mentioned it, I am intrigued about the idea of teaching there!

Very inspiring... and educational! Have you ever held a class at AhHa in Telluride?
