Carl Fritsch likes to defy the norms of conventional jewelry making. He creates all of his rings by hand and approaches their designs as any artist would - using imagination as his guide. Just look at the chunky tower-shaped ring that Fritsch made out of glass stones. Can
you believe Fritsch also created this child-like ring (right)? It looks like it's made out of clay - it's actually made out of oxidized silver and diamonds! Klimt02 has a great number of Fritsch rings on view. While I wouldn't wear either of these rings, I admire the ingenuity and impressive hand work that went into their making.
I think the glass stones are quite amazing, too - they are so colorful, shiny and rich looking that they look like real gem stones.
